RURAL CRIME WEEK OF ACTION

#RuralCrimeWeek | As part of Rural Crime Week, @cannockpolice have teamed up with the @cannockchasedc Environmental Health team to tackle a persistent issue in our rural communities — fly-tipping.

Fly-tipping isn’t just an eyesore — it’s a serious environmental crime. It pollutes our countryside, harms wildlife, and costs taxpayers thousands to clean up. It also creates a sense of neglect, which can lead to further anti-social behaviour.

👮‍♂️ During our meeting, we discussed how we can work more closely to identify offenders and support local residents in reporting incidents. The Council is committed to taking action — and so are we.

💰 Did you know? Cannock Chase Council offers a £250 reward for information that leads to a fine or prosecution for fly-tipping. If you see something, say something — your tip-off could make a real difference.
